Banana Moon Franchise – Midnight Moon Awards

Now in their ninth year, the Midnight Moon Awards are an annual milestone in Banana Moon Franchise’s calendar – the chance for all their nursery franchisees to come together for a night of celebrations and networking, with the opportunity to take home a coveted MMA Award.

Every year, we push the boundaries with an array of exciting and immersive themes and exceptional entertainment. We transformed the venue into an apres-ski-themed soiree in 2023 (including making it snow indoors!), brought the thrill of the Rio carnival in 2024 and created a deep-sea dream in 2025.

We deliver an end-to-end events solution that includes full creative theming and naming, animation, an RSVP microsite, talent management, live show calling and more.

Our latest event saw 340 guests venture Under the Sea at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Following a 6am crew call, we created an immersive underwater wonderland with a fully dressed venue – including giant bubble tubes and jellyfish hanging from ceiling. Host Paddy McGuinness dived straight into the theme, as we celebrated the very deserving award winners! The final jewel in the treasure trove was the Truly Medley Deeply band, who saw a packed dancefloor from moment they started until the final encore.

Banana Moon franchises are based all over the UK, so the awards act as an opportunity to get the teams together with lots of fun, food, drinks and celebrations. These internal awards give team members a reason to feel proud, recognise the contribution behind the results and inspire that same energy across the wider Banana Moon network.

Previous years have seen live performances from the likes of Britain’s Got Talent winners, as well as a surprise pie in the face from hosts Dick and Dom, a magical set from Stephen Mulhern and a conga line started by none other than David Walliams. Preparations for the next Midnight Moon Awards are well underway – watch this space!
